Disinfecting cat litter boxes daily for 5 minutes will also reduce the risk. These tips can decrease the risk of getting toxoplasmosis from cats.  

There is a possibility that a pregnant woman does not show any sign of toxoplasmosis. If you are pregnant and own a cat, you should definitely ask your veterinarian for more help as this disease could result in still birth and even miscarriage. Yes, but women should not panic, most cat owners have already been exposed and cannot get it twice, also cats only shed toxoplasmosis after getting it from an infected mouse - so cats that do not chase mice are not at risk.  Also it is in raw meat too.
